We know that species of wood and market need vary and because of that TP Silva’s product portfolio includes four well-established brands, Hakki Pilke, Japa, Palax, and X Firewood Factory, all of which have their own specific technical advantages and benefits to offer. And all of them benefit from decades of experience in firewood processor manufacturing and development.

TP Silva is part of the Terra Patris Group, a Finnish family-owned company founded in 2000.
The Terra Patris Group operates broadly across Finland’s manufacturing industry. All of the group’s subsidiaries have strong growth potential, industry expertise, and the prerequisites to succeed internationally. The group’s subsidiaries operate mainly in boat manufacturing, contract manufacturing, and the firewood processor industry.
The Terra Patris Group’s strong international expertise and financial backing provide a foundation for competitive, profitable operations and long-term growth within its subsidiaries. The group’s annual revenue is approximately €100 million, and it employs close to 400 people across Finland. Although the company’s business is strongly export-driven, its strategy is to always keep each subsidiary’s operations locally rooted, investing in their own expertise and operational planning.

To make that vision come true, TP Silva has grown both organically and through strategic acquisitions. About 70% of the company’s production goes for export, we sell to more than 35 countries. With more than 200,000 firewood processors sold around the world, the company’s four brands are market leaders in many markets. With its brands’ combined 150 years of experience in firewood processor manufacturing and industry-leading technological solutions, TP Silva’s future in the global firewood market is assured. The company’s factories are located in Haapajärvi and Ylistaro in Western Finland and the company operates through importers and their dealers throughout the globe.

The first fast and easy-to-use Palax firewood processors were built (in Southern Ostrobothnia in Western Finland). The brand known for its speed and ease of use has been a success story in the world of firewood production for almost 70 years so far.
Founding of Japa
Signed with ’Quality from the north’ right from the start, the smart and innovative Japa firewood processors are famous for several patended solutions.
Launch of the Hakki Pilke brand
The wide selection of technically superior Hakki Pilke firewood processors soon gains widespread popularity worldwide.
